(2) Partial correlation analysis

In order to explore the influence of precipitation and temperature on grassland NEP, separately, the partial correlation coefficient was calculated (Fig. 4.8). Statistical analysis showed that the partial correlation between NEP and precipitation was 0.168, between NEP and temperature was 0.03. And the partial correlation has little difference from the simple correlation coefficient. Positive correlation percentage between NEP and precipitation was 74.8%, and extremely significant positive correlation and significant positive correlation percentage was 9.6% and 10.9%, respectively. Negative correlation percentage reached to 45.8% between NEP and temperature. This result showed that temperature has no effect on the correlation between NEP and precipitation.
